Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship Training is the cornerstone of Gudie Leisure Farm's (GLF) social enterprise model. GLF, a prominent Ugandan social enterprise, is dedicated to transforming African agriculture by addressing high youth unemployment and subsistence farming.
Our approach is centered on cultivating a new generation of agricultural leaders, or "agripreneurs," who view farming not merely as a survival activity but as a proactive, planned, predictable, and profitable (4P) business venture.
The training system, encapsulated in programs like the Youth For Youth White Meat Value Chain Linkage Program, focuses on providing rigorous, hands-on, and market-relevant skills in areas such as poultry, aquaculture, and horticulture.
Beyond technical expertise, GLF's model includes crucial business mentorship and incubation, aiming to empower graduates to launch and scale their own sustainable agro-based micro and small enterprises, thereby driving socio-economic transformation in their communities and building robust agricultural value chains across Uganda.
