Skilling the Next Generation of Agripreneurs
Gudie Leisure Farm (GLF) runs a high-impact training and incubation program designed to transform marginalized youth and women into Proactive, Planned, Productive, and Profitable (4P) eco-entrepreneurs. Our model bridges the gap between theoretical education and real-world business success, creating job creators across Uganda's agricultural sector.
The core of our strategy is the Youth Agripreneur Champion (YAC) incubation model. This holistic program takes individuals through a structured journey from novice to competent business owner, complete with long-term support..
Our curriculum is intensively practical, focusing on the entire value chain—not just primary production.
White Meat Value Chain: Poultry, Cuniculture (rabbit farming), Aquaculture, Piggery. Other: Horticulture, Feed Milling, Post-harvest handling, and Nutraceuticals.
Business planning, Financial Management, Marketing, Quality assurance, Customer experience, and Supply chain linkages (connecting producers, vendors, and processors).
Training for District Multimedia Managers and women entrepreneurs focuses on leveraging digital platforms (like social media and design apps) to enhance business capabilities, customer reach, and online financial management.
Assisting with our LMS platform, digital marketing strategy, content creation (training videos, success stories), and social media engagement.
Our success relies on a powerful replication model that extends our impact far beyond our incubation center.
This commitment to practical training and community multiplication has already empowered over a hundred thousand young people, transforming smallholder livelihoods into profitable cottage industries across multiple districts.
